Storage and Preparation


01 Refrigerator

Eels taste the best the sooner you eat them. We recommend a maximum of 1 to 2 days for refrigerator storage but after that, you should keep them in the freezer.

02 Freezer

Divide the prepared eels in small amounts and store them in the freezer. You can cook them after thawing them in the refrigerator for about an hour.

03 Preparation

1. Submerge live eels in ice water and wait until they are moving slow.
2. Cut them in half from head to tail and scrape out the intestines.
3. Clean the eels again to remove any dirt or debris.
